On 06 July 2018, the Institute Villebon Georges Charpak, an initiative of the schools of ParisTech and the Université Paris Saclay, with the support of the ParisTech Foundation, celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2017 and the takeoff of the Class of 2018.
Once again, this year, the 3rd Class completed its bachelor’s degree with very satisfactory results in terms of success and further studies:
- 86% of students received their degree in 3 years.
- These students will go on to study for their Master’s degrees (Innovation, Ergonomics, Biomedical Engineering) or in Engineering Schools (Arts et Métiers, Bordeaux Sciences Agro, Centrale Nantes, ENSTA ParisTech, EPITA, EISTI, IMAC/ESIPE, IMT Atlantique, Institut d’Optique Graduate School, IONIS STM, ISAE-Supaero, ISUPFERE, Lasalle-Beauvais, Polytech, Télécom ParisTech, Télécom Saint-Étienne).
- The fields of study to which students are headed are as varied as ever: aeronautics, agro-food, biology, environment, civil engineering, digital, etc., due to the general nature of the curriculum.
- Finally, 4 students whose professional project was mature enough chose to leave the school at the end of their 2nd year, two of them to join an engineering school recruiting at BAC + 2, while the other two are going for a professional degree (in the fields of energy and biology).
